Authors cannot create a PeerSubmit account directly from the platform without interacting with a conference. Instead, an account is automatically created when an author registers or submits a paper through a conference submission page powered by PeerSubmit.

This process ensures that author accounts are linked to real conference submissions. Only conference organizers can create accounts directly from the PeerSubmit dashboard when inviting team members, reviewers, or collaborators.

How Authors Create an Account

• Open the conference submission page provided by the organizer.
• Click the Submit Abstract button.
• If you do not already have a PeerSubmit account, the system will prompt you to Sign Up or Log In.
• Enter your details such as name, email address, and password.
• Once completed, your PeerSubmit account will be created automatically and you can continue with the submission.

Account Creation During Submission

When authors begin the submission process, PeerSubmit checks whether the email address already has an account. If an account does not exist, the system asks the author to create one before proceeding with the submission.

• This ensures every submission is linked to a verified author account.
• Authors can later log in to manage submissions, upload revisions, and track review results.
