Payment Safety

Effective Date : 20 July 2025
Last Updated : 20 August 2025

Welcome to PeerSubmit, a product of Hallucyn Labs LLP (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Payment Safety explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our platform and services (“Safety”).

1. Secure Payment Processing

We do not store or process credit card or banking information directly on our servers. All transactions on PeerSubmit.com are securely handled by trusted third-party payment processors, including:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • RazorPay
  • PayU

These providers are PCI-DSS compliant, meaning they meet industry standards for secure card payments.

2. Payment Information Handling

When you make a payment:

  • Your card details are encrypted and sent directly to the payment processor.
  • We receive a secure confirmation from the processor (e.g., transaction ID, payment status), not your full card data.
  • We store only the necessary metadata (e.g., amount paid, date, conference ID) for record-keeping and customer service.

3. Fraud Prevention

We work with our payment processors to monitor for signs of fraud, including:

  • Suspicious or repeated failed transactions
  • Use of blocked or blacklisted IPs or accounts

If fraud is suspected, we may:

  • Temporarily suspend your account
  • Request identity verification
  • Cancel or block the transaction

4. Refunds and Disputes

  • Refund policies are determined by each conference organizer, and must be clearly stated on their conference page.
  • PeerSubmit.com may assist with payment disputes but does not guarantee a refund unless the conference was canceled or misrepresented.
  • If you are eligible for a refund, the original payment method will be used whenever possible.

5. Cancellation

  • Cancellation policies are set by each organizer and must be communicated clearly on their conference page.
  • Attendees should review the organizer’s cancellation terms before registering.
  • PeerSubmit.com is not responsible for enforcing individual cancellation policies but may provide support in resolving related issues.
  • If an conference is canceled by the organizer, registered participants will be notified and guided through the refund process.

6. Your Responsibilities

To help keep your payments safe:

  • Use a secure, private internet connection when entering payment details.
  • Keep your account credentials and payment details private.
  • Immediately report any unauthorized activity to us and your bank.
