Terms of Service

Welcome to PeerSubmit, a product of Hallucyn Labs LLP (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our platform and services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
1. Description of Services
PeerSubmit provides a cloud-based conference submission and peer review management platform. Services may include submission management, reviewer assignment, event administration, communication tools, and AI-powered recommendations (if enabled).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or authorized by a recognized institution to use the Services. By using the platform, you represent that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt system integrity.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the software.
- Access data that you are not authorized to view.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the PeerSubmit platform, including software, design, workflows, AI systems, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of Hallucyn Labs LLP.
Submission content and related materials remain the property of the respective authors or event organizers.
6. AI Features
Where enabled, AI-based features may provide reviewer recommendations or content summaries. AI outputs are recommendations only and may be manually reviewed or overridden by administrators.
AI features are provided for operational efficiency and are not intended to replace human judgment.
7. Fees and Payments
- Certain Services require payment as specified in the applicable quotation or invoice.
- All payments are due as per the agreed payment terms.
- Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
8. Refund Policy
Payments are generally non-refundable once the platform has been activated. Exceptions, if any, are handled at our discretion or as specified in the invoice agreement.
9. Data Ownership
Event organizers retain ownership of submission and participant data. PeerSubmit processes such data solely to provide the Services.
10. Service Availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain service availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure failures, or force majeure events may result in temporary downtime.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hallucyn Labs LLP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid for the relevant Services during the preceding twelve (12) months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hallucyn Labs LLP from claims arising out of misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, access rights cease immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation and, if necessary, arbitration in Bengaluru, India.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
