How UpBlick Managed AI-Ethos 2026 with PeerSubmit

Published on 5 November 2026For AI-Ethos 2026, UpBlick needed more than a public event page. The team needed paper submissions, double-blind peer review, conference registration, ticketing, and organizer-controlled payments to work as one connected experience.
PeerSubmit gave UpBlick and Hallucyn Labs one platform for the academic and attendee workflows of The International Conference on Ethical AI and Sustainable Governance, while allowing the organizer to collect payments directly and confirm registrations after verification.
About UpBlick & AI-Ethos 2026
UpBlick is a Hallucyn Labs platform that helps local businesses manage customer feedback, reviews, and online reputation. For AI-Ethos 2026, the organization used PeerSubmit to support a separate academic initiative focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, and sustainable governance.
The conference brought together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers for research presentations, technical discussions, workshops, and poster sessions. Its submission guidelines required original work, an IEEE double-column format, anonymized manuscripts, and double-blind peer review.
The challenge: managing academic and attendee workflows together
An international call for papers produces several connected workflows. Authors need a reliable way to submit anonymized manuscripts, organizers need to monitor deadlines and decisions, and reviewers need access to the right papers without seeing author identities.
The same event also needed registration and ticketing. Keeping submissions, reviews, attendee records, orders, and payments in separate systems would create unnecessary reconciliation work. UpBlick needed one operational view while retaining control of how conference payments were collected and verified.
One platform for submissions, double-blind review, and registration
PeerSubmit provided a dedicated conference website and structured call-for-papers workflow for AI-Ethos 2026. Authors could review the conference information, follow submission requirements, and submit their papers through the same event experience.
The review workflow supported anonymized manuscripts and double-blind evaluation, helping the organizing team keep author information separate from the reviewer process. Organizers could monitor submissions, reviewer activity, and decisions without building a manual paper-tracking system.
Registration and ticketing used the same conference foundation. Ticket categories, attendee records, orders, payments, and pending payment requests remained connected to the event, giving the team a clearer operational view from the call for papers through attendee confirmation.
Conference Ticketing Without PeerSubmit Commission
PeerSubmit ticketing commission. The organizer collected conference payments directly into its designated account.
The attendee pays through the payment method or account designated by the organizer.
The team confirms the payment through its own internal process.
After verification, the organizer confirms the registration and releases the attendee ticket in PeerSubmit.
Important: PeerSubmit did not automatically verify direct payments. Bank or payment-provider fees may still apply.
The result: a connected conference operation
UpBlick could manage the academic and registration sides of AI-Ethos 2026 from one conference platform. The public website, submission requirements, double-blind review process, registration options, and payment status all belonged to the same event workflow.
The approach reduced the need to reconcile disconnected tools while preserving organizer control over payment collection and verification. It also created a consistent journey for authors and attendees, from discovering the conference to submitting research or completing registration.
