Conference organizers and program chairs need to monitor the progress of peer reviews to ensure that submissions are evaluated before the review deadline. PeerSubmit provides tools that allow organizers to track reviewer activity, view review completion status, and identify submissions that still need evaluation.

Using the submission dashboard and review pipeline, organizers can easily see which papers are waiting for review, currently under review, or already completed.

Step 1: Open Your Conference Dashboard

First, access the conference where you want to monitor the review progress.

  • Log in to your PeerSubmit account.
  • Open the All Conferences page.
  • Select the conference you want to manage.

Step 3: Check the Review Pipeline

PeerSubmit organizes submissions into a visual review pipeline to help organizers track review progress.

PeerSubmit review pipeline board
  • Pending – Submissions waiting for reviewers to start reviewing.
  • Waiting – Submissions currently being reviewed.
  • Completed – All assigned reviewers have submitted their reviews.

This pipeline allows organizers to quickly identify submissions that still require reviews.

Step 4: View Review Completion Status

You can also check the review progress for individual submissions.

  • Open a submission from the submissions list.
  • View the review progress indicator.
  • Example: 1/2 reviews completed.

This helps organizers quickly identify which submissions still require reviewer feedback.

Tips for Managing Review Progress

  • Assign reviewers early after submissions are received.
  • Monitor the review pipeline regularly.
  • Send reminders to reviewers if deadlines approach.
  • Ensure each submission has the required number of reviews.

Proactive monitoring helps conferences maintain a smooth and timely peer review process.

Next Step

After all reviews are completed, program chairs can analyze reviewer feedback and make final acceptance or rejection decisions for each submission.
