PeerSubmit allows organizers and program chairs to invite experts to participate in the peer review process. Reviewer invitations are sent automatically using predefined email templates once a reviewer is invited or assigned to review a submission.

These invitations help organizers build a review committee and assign qualified reviewers to evaluate submitted papers.

Step 1: Log in to Your PeerSubmit Account

Start by logging in to your organizer or program chair account.

  • Open the PeerSubmit login page.
  • Enter your registered email address and password.
  • Click Login to access the dashboard.

Step 2: Open the Conference

Select the conference where reviewers will be invited.

  • Navigate to All Conferences.
  • Choose the relevant conference.
  • Open the conference dashboard.

Step 3: Invite or Assign a Reviewer

Organizers can invite reviewers when assigning them to evaluate a submission.

  • Go to Review & Decisions.
  • Open the submission that requires review.
  • Click Manage Reviewer.
  • Add or select a reviewer to assign the submission.

When a reviewer is invited or assigned, PeerSubmit automatically sends a reviewer invitation email.

Step 4: Reviewer Invitation Email

The system sends an automated email to the reviewer requesting them to participate in the review process.

  • Reviewer Invitation – Sent when inviting a reviewer to join the review committee.
  • New Review Assignment – Sent when a submission is assigned to the reviewer.
  • Revised Paper Uploaded – Notifies reviewers that a revised version is available.
  • Review Submission Thank You – Sent after a reviewer submits their evaluation.

Step 5: Customize Reviewer Email Templates

Organizers can edit reviewer communication templates according to conference policies.

  • Navigate to Conference Settings → Email Templates.
  • Open the Reviewer tab.
  • Select the template you want to modify.
  • Edit the subject or email content.
  • Save the changes.
