How do organizers open a conference for submissions?

Updated on 10 March 2026Before authors can submit research papers, organizers must configure and open the submission period for the conference. In PeerSubmit, submissions are controlled through the Submission Setup settings, where organizers define submission dates, review deadlines, and peer review settings.
Once the submission period is active, authors can access the conference submission page and upload their manuscripts according to the configured guidelines.
Step 1: Log in to Your PeerSubmit Account
Start by logging in to your PeerSubmit organizer account.
- Open the PeerSubmit login page.
- Enter your registered email address and password.
- Click Login to access your dashboard.
Step 2: Select Your Conference
After logging in, open the conference where you want to enable submissions.
- Navigate to All Conferences.
- Find the conference you want to manage.
- Click Manage Conference.
Step 3: Open Submission Setup
Submission settings are configured inside the conference submission setup.
- Navigate to the Submission Setup page.
- Open the Submission & Review tab.
Step 4: Configure Submission Dates
Define the time period when authors are allowed to submit their papers.
- Set the Submission Start Date & Time.
- Set the Submission End Date & Time.
- Configure the Review Deadline.
Authors will only be able to submit papers within the defined submission period.
Step 5: Configure Review Settings
Next, configure the peer review settings for your conference.
- Assignment Mode: Choose AI-powered reviewer recommendations or manual reviewer assignment.
- Blindness Settings: Select Single-Blind, Double-Blind, or Open Review.
- Submission Limit: Define the maximum number of papers allowed.
Step 6: Save the Settings
After configuring the submission settings, save the changes.
- Click Save Changes.
- Verify that the submission start date is active.
Once the start date is reached, authors will be able to submit their papers through the conference submission page.

- Ensure tracks and topics are defined.
- Confirm reviewer accounts are added.
- Verify submission guidelines and templates.
- Double-check submission deadlines.
Once submissions are open, authors can begin submitting papers and the peer review process can start.
